Electi Academy is honored to work with Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, the world’s largest provider of professional development and academic education to the maritime industry, to offer a unique diploma on emergent technologies.

The brand new online Diploma in Digital Shipping, introduced in November 2020, equips students and shipping professionals, through the study of emergent technologies, with the knowledge, management skills and digital competencies required to enhance a successful career in ship operations and maritime management.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants earn a Lloyds Maritime Academy Professional Development Diploma, awarded by North Kent College.

The course is focused solely on providing in-depth technology education for the shipping industry and provides opportunities for participants to develop a deep understanding of issues in professional practice with a particular focus on shipping data analytics, cybersecurity, blockchain technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), all within the legal ethical contexts of the shipping industry. The course is delivered on via online learning, with the support of leading experts, and has a duration of 12 months.
